Arcoform protective shrouds are a modular system made of fire-retardant resin, embedded glass strand fiber-mat, and finished with the Arcoplast high-gloss antimicrobial GelCoat surface. Shrouds are available in a range of profiles, including beam and column covers, bulkheads, soffits, fascias, and utility chases. The shrouds create a division barrier to conceal and protect building structures and MEP services against corrosion and structural decay, the streamlined design enhances the efficacy of cleaning decon sterilization. Custom profiles can be made to specification with nearly unlimited design possibilities.
Arcoform extends beyond protective shrouds to include a catalog of face plates and grommets.

SANITATION AND CLEANING
Arcoform shrouds are like a giant kit set. The shroud's cage frame is mechanically fastened together, next the shroud is assembled without brackets, external fasteners, or auxiliary attachments. With no heavy components or complex installation processes, a small experienced crew can efficiently handle even the most complex designs. Installation or retrofitting of auxiliary components is a clean on-site process, no specialized tools, plastering, sanding, painting, welding, or pop riveting is required.
Arcoform shrouds and integration of most third party components are joined, sealed and finished using Bio-Seal A-1010. The Bio-Seal adhesive sealant finishing compound does not distort, crack, shrink or color blotch. In the event a shroud is damaged, it is repaired using the Arcoplast GC Repair kit
The seamless integration of an air venting system using an Arcoform bulkhead shroud. By enclosing all pipes and electrics, the shroud reduces the cleaning surface area while fully protecting the enclosed MEPs from unnecessary contact with water and cleaning products; thus greatly improving the efficacy of the cleaning, decon sterilization process.
Please note : The vent has been seamlessly sealed into the bulkhead using A-1010 Bio-Seal.
The high gloss finish of the Arcoform shroud is the Arcoplast GelCoat surface. Available in most PMS colors, standard color is pristine white. The Arcoplast GelCoat is a robust, color fast, antimicrobial, chemical resistant surface, with a topography of 0.082 μm.
The international standard for hygienic design ISO 4287.23 stipulates the topography and roughness of a surface at : Ra 0.82μm or less.

Insulation : Factory insulated spray-on closed-cell polyurethane foam is available in different R Ratings, else foam can be applied on site. Other options include : Inspection ports, drainage bungs, and service hatches.

Grommets are versatile and can be used in various ways. The above image depicts a pipe penetration, with a grommet filled with clear A-1010 Bio-Seal. The grommet is seamlessly sealed into the primary barrier using white A-1010 Bio-Seal.
